"Massage is the touch of the physical and energetic body with a healing purpose."
......................................................- Cheryl Schwartz, DVM, Four Paws Five Directions

Canine Massage

Massage balances the major functions of the body for optimum performance and wellbeing. Using long, flowing strokes, canine companions recieve a massage that supports the entire canine body from the bones to the skin.

Benefits of Canine Massage:

• Helps metabolize food, water
• Improves range of motion
• Relieves tired, cramped muscles
• Increases oxygen/blood circulation
• Balances gait
• Enhances animal/human bonding

Energy Balance

Animals have energy centers just like humans. A balanced energy system is as important for our animals as for ourselves. An imbalance in a single energy center can cause a distruption in the body, mind and spirit of your pet.

Imbalance in the Energy Centers could be physical, mental or emotional. Our companions also exhibit imbalances when we are out of balance. Our non-verbal expressions can trigger a change in our animal companions energetic system. Like a galactic solar system, our energies revolve around and affect our pets and other people in our immediate surroundings.

Both the animal and human energy centers can be urged into balance using massage, reiki, essences, aura sprays and crystals.

Animal Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Literally translated, it means "spiritually guided life force energy." Practitioners place hands on or above the body and act as a conductor of the energy to the animal. Energy also refers to the "life force" that is the connecting element of the body, the mind and the spirit.

Animal reiki, message and energy balance are complimentary therapies and should not be used as a replacement for vetirinary care. A canine massage practitioner does not diagnose health concerns.
